I started off gas welding first. Here is a T-fillet with not rg45 filler rod but and an ELECTRODE! LOL I used a HR-7018 low hydrogen electrode to be exact. All I did was just take the flux off. Took alot of heat control but honestly the welds come out stronger and prettier ;) OH yeah that's just me in my shade fives repping righetti.
Blog about what I do in my high school welding shop. Goal in life to become a state champion welder for F.F.A!! Comment or give me advice on what I can do to improve.

SANTA MARIA (GUADALUPE) STYLE BBQ
For those of you who do not know where Santa Maria Style BBQ originated it was in my home town Guadalupe California. About 15 minutes west of Santa Maria. You'll find that we are surrounded by fields and good people :)Here we have some PRIME meat. Ranchera, smoked sausage, and riblets. If you tag along with my blog you'll find some more prime meat.
JUMBO GRILL ANYONE?
The after math of letting a couple of teenagers have freedom and creativity in a old welding shop. Took a long time to make this with just 30 min each day of freedom. Let us just take a moment and wonder what can happen if we were given 3 or more hours? Hmmmm
STAINLESS STEEL GRILL
Also did a T fillet with no rod just pure HEAT CONTROL. Thought it was impressive at the moment.
Did a fillet weld for my buddy a few months back. This is about three months of practicing TIG (stainless). Little rusty at the moment because I'm trying to gain a good foundation on FLUX and STICK welding.
